New Lydali Bangles

We got home from Hawaii last night and I'm feeling so refreshed and recharged. It's amazing what a few days at the beach with your favorite person can do for you.

I had some fun packages waiting for me for Lydali when I got home, and I wanted to share some images of sample bangles we received today. These are made in Kenya and Tanzania, and they're really beautiful. Do you have a favorite? Let me know in the comments, or head over to Lydali on Facebook to cast your vote. We're ordering soon and would love feedback!

Project Runway Jewelry

I'm not usually into anything matchy-matchy, but I like these earrings and this necklace by Gretchen Jones from Project Runway, which are available online at Piperlime

A Peace Treaty

Judging by my numerous posts about jewelry, you would probably think I have a lot of it and accessorize really well. But those of you who know me (which, let's be serious, is all of you - I don't think I have any random interweb strangers reading my blog) know that I rarely wear cute jewelry. I have vowed to work it in more though!

Anyways, A Peace Treaty is a company created by two friends, and I took a lot of inspiration from it when designing Adia Beading years ago. They used to only do scarves, but I just checked it out the other day and they now do jewelry too. And I love it. Here are a few faves:

Lux and Trip

I was talking with a friend this weekend about wearing more statement jewelry. I've got all of this jewelry that I own and love, but I'm always too tired in the morning to think about working jewelry into my outfits. We both vowed that we would try harder to incorporate great jewelry into our daily lives.

I know I need to build that habit with what I've got before purchasing new pieces, but I am loving these pieces by Lux + Trip

Pretty cool, huh? I love the shapes and the pops of neon, and I would love to see one of them on a model so I can get a better feel for what they'd look like on. Anyone want to buy one and model it for me?!

Oh, also, I bought this blue necklace and I l-o-v-e it!

Elephantine

I feel like I've been posting about jewelry a lot lately, but it is near and dear to my heart. I'm pretty sure elephantine has already made its rounds in the blogger world (I mean, A Cup of Jo posted about it I think, and that means like 200 million people already have read about it from her, right?!)

Well, I'm always on the lookout for simple and pretty everyday jewelry, but for some reason I was ignoring elephantine because I thought it was expensive. I don't know where I got that though - everything is really reasonably priced. I think the middle picture, eastern holiday, is my fave. What do you think?

Oh, Canada

You may know that I am not the fondest of Canada since that's where my boy has been every Monday through Thursday for the past six months, but I'm going to set my beef with the country aside for a minute to talk about this awesome Canadian jewelry designer, Julia Vallelunga of La Raffinerie

I just came across this, and I'm loving the way she took inspiration from ancient tribal jewelry but built her pieces with silk and satin so that they're totally wearable and not too overly tribal. Here are some favorites, and they're actually very reasonably priced too:

Hot Air Balloon Necklace

I just saw this hot air balloon necklace on Ruche and I really love it. My Uncle Kevin used to have a hot air balloon so whenever I see them I always think of him and of my cousins Adrienne and Amanda.
