Hot Air Balloon Necklace

I just saw this hot air balloon necklace on Ruche and I really love it. My Uncle Kevin used to have a hot air balloon so whenever I see them I always think of him and of my cousins Adrienne and Amanda.

A Bicycle Built For Two

One thing we've decided to do though is to register for fun things in addition to home and kitchen goods, so Jonny just set up an Amazon registry last night. Here's my favorite thing on the registry:

I've actually been surprised by how much I don't enjoy registering for wedding gifts. I thought it would be so fun to shop and scan, but it ends up being hilariously stressful with Jonny saying things like, "The thought of drinking out of a colored glass makes me want to throw up," and me freaking out when the nice little highschooler behind the counter at Williams-Sonoma started showing us knives that cost $250 a piece. But I'm loving the idea of zipping around San Francisco on this bicycle!

Nut!

Laura directed me to Dimdi, an artist who paints adorable watercolors. Not sure if Jonny will agree that we need this watercolor of Nut for a central location in our new apartment, but it's going to happen.

Engagement Photo Shoot

I'm so thrilled with the engagement photos that Josh Petersen took last weekend. I think he did such a good job and it's hard to believe that this was his first time ever doing anything like this. The weather in these pictures makes it look like we spread this shoot across several days or several seasons, but these were all taken on the same Saturday afternoon in San Francisco. Thanks so much, Josh!

Josh Petersen

We hung out with our good friend Josh Petersen this weekend brunching, exploring, and taking shots all around San Francisco. Josh just gave me all the photos he took, and we were thrilled with how everything turned out. I'm in the process of going through them, and I'll be sure to post more soon.

Yellow Dresses

I just spent the week in Nashville working and interspersing it with a little bit of wedding planning and shopping for bridesmaids dresses. We now have a church, a reception venue (almost), a wedding planner, and I got to meet with Tec! I also got to meet up with a lot of close friends in the five days I was home, and even though it was a stressful week to pack everything in, it was good. I'm obsessed with this photo (above) that Jocelyn sent me, and it has truly inspired my thinking about a color palette for October 23.
