SF L-O-V-E: Chez Spencer

One of my very favorite restaurants in San Francisco is Chez Spencer. It's a fancy French restaurant tucked away on 14th and Folsom, and it is incredible. When Jonny and I went a few nights ago for our anniversary, we split a red and gold beet salad, then, for my main course, I got pan-seared tai snapper and Jonny (who claims one of his top three skills is ordering off of a menu) had an amazing wood-seared venison.

Grey Day

There are grey skies in San Francisco right now. Unfortunately, though, there is rain to go along with those grey skies, and I'm wishing I hadn't ridden my bike to work today.

EA Seguy

My great-grandmother had two big books of EA Seguy prints - Insectes and Papillons. By some great blessing, both of those books of print have come into my possession. I'm doing my best to work the prints into my apartment decor (even though I can't afford to have anything framed right now.) Here are four of the prints that hang above my bed:
